Our story
Super Star Seeds began twenty-five years ago with a simple discomfort: too many seed companies guessed what farmers wanted. We decided to ask instead.

About us
Super Star Seeds Company is a trusted name in the agricultural seed industry, built on 25 years of expertise, experience, and commitment to farmers. Based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the company is dedicated to serving farmers with reliable, high-quality seeds developed to support better crop performance and productivity.
Our product portfolio covers a diverse range of agricultural and fodder seeds, including hybrid bajra, hybrid and improved varieties of jowar, mustard, wheat, cumin, moong, urad, sesame, paddy, maize, vegetables, and fodder crops. The company’s catalogue includes both research-based and certified seed varieties suited to different agricultural requirements.
At Super Star Seeds Company, our focus is on combining agricultural knowledge, product quality, and farmer-oriented service to help growers make productive choices for their fields. With a broad product range and years of experience serving the farming community, we continue to work toward strengthening agricultural productivity and creating long-term value for farmers.
Our vision
“Quality seeds, stronger crops, and a more prosperous farming community.”

In service of farmers since 25 years
How we think
Most companies research a seed and then guess the rest — the name, the pack, the price, the shop it will sit in. We do the opposite. We study the farmer and the market with the same care we give the crop: who buys, where they buy, what they compare on the shelf, and what made them switch last season.
That is why our packs carry big, clear variety numbers a farmer can read from across the shop. Why our names speak plainly — Super Shakti, Super Sona. And why our field officers spend more time in village chaupals than in our own office.
We are rooted in Gujarat and Rajasthan because that is where our research lives — the black soils of Saurashtra, the cumin belts of Banaskantha, the mustard fields of eastern Rajasthan. Commitment, for us, is not a word on a wall. It is showing up in the same villages every single season.
The road so far
A small seed counter opens near Bavla, Ahmedabad. One promise: sell only what we would sow ourselves.
First research plots and farmer panels. We start writing down what farmers actually say — and acting on it.
The network crosses into Rajasthan. Mustard and bajri belts get their first Super Star trial plots.
A new godown and grading facility at Bavla — built so stock moves to dealers within 48–72 hours.
30+ research varieties, a 350+ dealer network, and the same habit we started with: listen first.
What guides us
Interviews, village meetings and store-visit surveys come before any variety decision or any packet design.
If a lot fails our own checks, it never reaches a shelf. A farmer's season is too expensive for our shortcuts.
Honest margins, honest billing, stock support when a season turns. Our dealers are partners, not just counters.
